Rockome Gardens
Get lost in a paradise of flowers and old time craftmanship. Rockome Gardens is the place to explore the past crafts such as woodcarving, bakers, and candy makers.

* The Gardens: Rockome is known for its creative rock sculptures and our seven beautiful gardens in the heart of Illinois’ largest Old-Order Amish community

* Master Craftsmen and Artisans: They feature a hand-blown glass maker, 1860 soap maker, woodcarver, coppersmith, wire artisan, baker, and candy maker.

* Train Robbery: Bad Bryan the Bushwhacker has the nasty habit of robbing the Rockome train every day and luckily there are heroic cowboys there to stop him.

* Shootout on Main Street: Sometimes cowboys let their six-guns do the talking. Witness an event such as this on Main Street at 4pm.

Raggedy Ann and Andy Museum
Spend a day with the "World Famous" dolls!

The Johnny Gruelle Raggedy Ann & Andy Museum opened to the public in May of 1999, in Arcola, Illinois. They are the only officially licensed Raggedy Ann & Andy museum in the world! The mission of the Johnny Gruelle Raggedy Ann and Andy Museum is to preserve the life and times of the man who created the storybook characters, and to promote the inspiration, values, and spirit of imagination that has made them an American institution for so many years.

The museum shares the history of these famed dolls and has a gift store where you too, can purchase your very own Raggedy Ann and Andy items!
